Pranav Diabetes Center, situated in Dodda Banaswadi, Bengaluru, was established by Dr. G. M. Prasad in 2002 as a healthcare center. Under the professional and administrative guidance of Dr. G. M. Prasad, the center has grown to achieve the status of a well-known diabetes center in Bengaluru. It has also become an ISO-certified center, recognised as a trustworthy day-care center for the referral of diabetic patients requiring specialist opinion and management.

Dr. G. M. Prasad, MD of Pace Clinical Research, has set up this research unit with an innovative approach to fulfil the increasing demand for quality healthcare in India. We have undertaken many clinical trials in the field of diabetes and successfully completed Phase III and Phase IV trials, with ongoing global trials supported by the required infrastructure and a dedicated team.

As part of this evolution, Pace Clinical Research established the Pranav Diabetes Center Ethics Committee in 2020, which complies with all regulations stated by the CDSCO (DCGI), the New Clinical Trial Regulations, and other regulatory requirements of the ICMR. The ICH-GCP guideline, followed globally for clinical research, elaborates the composition and functioning of an Institutional Ethics Committee that reviews clinical research proposals.
Dr. Prasad is a practicing diabetologist and internal medicine specialist since 2002. He specialises in the management of diabetes — both Type 1 and Type 2 — and other endocrine disorders, along with obesity management.
